Some links on ShipSecurely earn a commission. If you follow one and buy or sign up, we may be paid. That payment does not add a charge for you. The price is the price the company charges someone who arrives without our link.

Railway is an example. When a Railway link pays a commission, the link is labeled affiliate. The page says so at the top, before the first of those links.

## What a commission does not change

An affiliate relationship does not change comparison order or benchmark order. Comparison tables stay alphabetical. A sponsor payment does not change that order either.

A featured listing is labeled and pinned inside its own category. It is not a higher place in a comparison. Payment does not change a guide, a severity, a price, or a verified date. The same rule is on the [editorial standards](/about/editorial-standards) page.

## Sponsors

A paid placement is labeled Sponsored or Featured. It can appear in the bar at the top of the site and as a Sponsored block in a newsletter. It is separate from the guides. Pricing is on the [sponsor page](/sponsor).
