This page describes ShipSecurely. It is not a template for your own privacy policy. If you collect other people's data, write your own. See the guide on [missing privacy policies and terms](/issues/missing-privacy-policy-and-terms).

## What we collect

The newsletter form asks for an email address. If you submit one, we check that it looks like an address and add it to the newsletter list, which is hosted by Resend. A welcome email is sent from newsletter@shipsecurely.dev. Replies go to [team@shipsecurely.dev](mailto:team@shipsecurely.dev). An address that is already on the list stays there, and the welcome email is sent again.

The welcome email includes an unsubscribe link. Opening it, or using the one-click unsubscribe action in a mail app, marks that contact unsubscribed in the same Resend audience.

We do not sell email addresses.

## Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log request data, including IP addresses, as part of ordinary hosting. The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate traffic and performance. Those tools do not set a marketing cookie from the newsletter form.
