What the public pages say
Snyk is a long-running application security product. The public plans page is the source for what the free tier includes. Treat any scan-count figure you see on a comparison blog as unverified unless Snyk's own page shows it.
Snyk is a reasonable first scanner for dependencies and code. It will not notice that your Supabase table has row level security turned off.
Free tier
Snyk's plans page lists a Free plan at $0 per month for individual developers and small teams, with access to SCA, SAST, IaC, and container scanning, real-time scanning, and IDE, CLI, and source integrations. A Team plan is listed at $25 per month and adds increased test limits, Jira integration, and next-business-day support. The same page says Snyk Evo features such as AI pentesting are not on Free or Team.

- A numeric test limit for the Free plan. The plans page dated 2026-10-13 does not state one. Check the account or the current pricing table before assuming a monthly scan count.
